The Rio Grande Valley Chapter, a Chapter of the Texas
Society of Certified Public Accountants, was organized in 1947 with ten
charter members, for the purpose of networking and social interaction.
The Chapter continues to serve as a permanent, vital source of continuing
education for its members, as well as, providing a professional network
for CPA’s throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
This Rio Grande Valley Chapter site will keep you

“get involved” while enhancing our profession. The Rio Grande Valley
Chapter believes and adheres to the Mission Statement of the TSCPA.
Mission:
The Texas Society of Certified Public
Accountants exists to support its members in their professional endeavors
and to promote the value and high standards of Texas CPAs.
Goals:
The goals of the Rio Grande Valley Chapter are (1) to
provide at least 96 hours of high- quality CPE each year at a reasonable cost; (2)
to provide networking avenues for our members; (3) to promote public
service by giving back to our community through volunteerism and support;
(4) to increase membership to the Chapter; and (5) to promote our
profession through career days presentations, open office
visits for accounting students, scholarship opportunities and employment
resources.
Your Chapter:
The Rio Grande Valley Chapter of the TSCPA provides
monthly newsletters that will inform you of upcoming events, CPE, news,
tax tips, and other important or amusing information.
The Rio Grande Valley Chapter of TSCPA survives
because of its members. We welcome new members, and strive to maintain a
professional, informative relationship with our membership.
Your local chapter works to keep you informed of
current events, and communicates legislative issues that could effect
our profession. Your volunteerism and continued support is the life blood
of our Chapter.
Specific links are offered on our website as an
avenue to other information, both local and regional. We hope that you
